This mountain is 80meters tail and because it has many bamboo trees, It has been called Jukdo mountain. For its beaty and fishing spots and underwater nature, It is well loved by scuba divers.

| 영덕으로 가는 34번 국도에서 청송쪽으로 길을 바꾸어 914번 지방국도를 따라 14km쯤 내려가면 예사롭지 않은 계곡을 끼고 여덟개의 봉우리가 연이어 있는 팔각산(628m)를 만나게 된다. 뿔이 8개 솟았다는 뜻에서 유래된 산 이름이다. 흔히 '옥계팔봉'이라 부르는 이 팔각산은 독립된 안봉으로서 산밑에서 보다 뛰어난 암골미가 여간 아닌 명산이다. |
