| 삼사해상공원에서 개최되는 해맞이 축제는 전국적으로 유명해 해마다 전국에서 수만명의 관광객이 찾아온다. 12월 31일 경북대종 타종과 함께 시작되는 해맞이 축제는 전야제 행사와 해맞이 행사로 나뉘어져 이틀간 개최된다. 전야제 행사에는 화려한 불꽃놀이, 달집태우기 등이 열리고, 해맞이 행사에는 소원성취 연날리기. 해맞이 기원제 등이 개최되어 동해의 일출을 바라보며 한 해의 소원을 빌어보는 |

The sunrise festival has taken place in Samsa Marine Park. It has become famous nationwide and attracted tens of thounsands of people from near and far every year. It starts with striking the grand Kyenogbuk bell at midnight of the thirth first of December. Including the foreplay of the festival. It is a two day event. During the foreplay, events like firework are held. At the sunrise fistival, as people watch the sunrise, they fly kites with wishes for the new year and hold a ceremony.
